home of the Mt. Carmel High School Drama Department!
Theatre at the Mount is comprised of hard-working and talented students who have a passion for the performing arts and are looking for exciting opportunities and experiences to sharpen their skills and abilities in drama and technical theatre. Our program provides a unique and hands on educational experience for each and every student.
2023 CETA High School Theatre Festival
Mt. Carmel is thrilled to once again be participating in the California Educational Theatre Association's High School Theatre Festival! The CETA HSTF is an incredible opportunity for students across the state to spend a weekend connecting, sharing, learning, and experiencing the best of high school theatre among a vibrant community of their peers. This optional field trip will take place January 13-15th, 2023, and is hosted by Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga. All MCHS students who wish to go on the trip must meet the following criteria:

Read the CETA Overview Letter very carefully with your guardians.
Email swalker@powayusd.com with any questions. Write "CETA" in the subject line.

Read through all paperwork carefully.
Sign and return when school is back in session, no later than January 10th.*

*please note--you do NOT have to have all paperwork in to make your payment, but you must have turned in all paperwork before you are allowed to board the bus!

Register for workshops via CETA scheduling platform. (You should receive a link after you are registered. Expect the first wave of these December 28th.)

Turn in your rooming request and meal order form no later than January 8th.

Sign CETA Code of Conduct Form and return.

Attend final fieldtrip meeting on Wednesday, January 11th at lunch.
